ROCHESTER — Noella H. Gagnon, 74, of 221 Wyandotte Falls, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.She was born in Rochester on Dec. 25, 1930, the daughter of Arthur and Regina (Forgue) Cormier, and was a lifetime resident of the area. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, where she was an active member of Ste. Anne Sodality, and volunteered with the Mercy Circle and prayer groups and was a Eucharistic Minister. Her church and faith were an inspiration to many.She had worked for a number of years for Mayberry Shoe Company in Rochester, prior to her retirement. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a dear friend to many.She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien Gagnon in 1966; and by a brother, Armand Cormier.Family members include her son, David Gagnon and his fiancee, Shannon Taube, of Somerfield, Fla.; a brother, Eugene Cormier of Rochester; a sister, Cecile Stelmach of Rochester; two grandchildren, Kelly and Brandi Gagnon; a great-grandchild, Kaylee Mines; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.Visitation at H.J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main St., Rochester, will be Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
