Natalie Leary, 85, of Wakefield, died Sunday, July 24 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. Born in Chelsea on August 27, 1919 she was the daughter of the late J. Frank and Blanche J. (Thurston) Talbot. Mrs. Leary was a graduate of Everett High School. She was employed for over 20 years as a clerk for the town treasurer’s office in Wakefield and was also a secretary and stenographer for the Boston Navy Yard. Mrs. Leary was a member of St. Florence Parish in Wakefield. She was also a member of the Lady Sodality and the P.T.A. at the Montrose School. Mrs. Leary was the wife of the late Cornelius V. Leary. She is survived by her 4 children; Carolyn L. Wiegand and her husband Herbert of Boxborough, Stephen V. Leary of Wakefield, Susan L. Levine and her husband Marvin of Woburn and Michael C. Leary of Wakefield. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Alison Leary, Kurt Wiegand, Colleen Leary and Katie Levine. Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, Thursday, at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday 4-8 P.M. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 101A First Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.
