Nancy H. (Colby) Pearson of Bridgewater, formerly of Holbrook, died Dec. 8, 2012, at the age of 78. Nancy was born in Braintree, grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Sumner High School, Class of 1952. She was a retired teller for the Quincy Cooperative Bank, in Quincy. Wife of the late Emile B. Rosenberg-Pearson, she was the loving mother of David A. Pearson and his wife Evelyn of Holbrook, Holly Hauske of LaJolla, Calif., and Bruce Pearson and his wife Theresa of Southbury, Conn.; dear grandmother of Timothy Pearson, Daniel Pearson and Allison Pearson, all of Holbrook, Elyse Rota of Norton, Julia Rota of Cumberland, R.I., Emily Pearson, John Pearson and Craig Pearson, all of Southbury, Conn.; devoted sister of Russell D. Colby of Holbrook and A. Jane Hinckley and her husband Roland of Bridgewater, the late Mason W. Colby, Rev. Paul Colby Jr., and John C. Colby; sister-in-law of Dorothy Underdown of Norwell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 South Franklin St. (Rte. 37), Holbrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period Friday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home.
