Mildred Jane Duckett Henson, 85, of Muscle Shoals died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002.Visitation will be Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.The funeral service will be Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery. Barrett Long will officiate.Mrs. Henson was the former Mildred Duckett of Florence and was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Henson of Muscle Shoals; and a daughter, Jody Santoro of Birmingham, Ala.; and sister, Marjorie Wallace of Florence.She is survived by two very special nieces, Paula Gilbreath of Sheffield and Charlotte Kostka of DeQueen, Ark.; and a very special son-in-law, Joe Santoro of Birmingham, Ala.; and other nieces and nephews who are very special; also special friends, Lawrence Atkinson and family.Pallbearers are Joe Santoro, Ronnie Henson, Lawrence Atkinson, Brian Atkinson, Jim Henson, Ken Kostka, Jim Gilbreath. Honorary pallbearers are the deacons of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church.A very special thanks is extended to Dr. Brad McAnally and Brother Tom Whatley.
