MILDRED ANN (LONG) FIELD Mildred Ann (Long) Field, age 87 of Clarkston, MI, and Stuart, FL went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Field for 62 years. Loving mother of Suzanne (Thomas) Nickman of Fairview, Texas, Barbara (Paul) Lampkin of Waterford, MI and Joanne (Donald) Mendham of Rockford, MI. Mildred was born in Moline, IL and moved to Pontiac in 1929, graduated from Pontiac High School in 1936. She was a secretary at GM Truck and Coach, a 76 year member of Central Methodist Church, a choir member for 33 years, and wedding hostess for the church for ten years. An avid golfer and bowler, being secretary for many leagues. Mildred enjoyed spending 29 winters with her husband in Stuart, FL. Her main interest in life was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Survived by Steven (Elka) Nickman, Mark Nickman, and Julie (Scot) Harmon, Bradley (Debbi) Lampkin, Melissa Hughes, Wendy (Dennis) Hopkins, Lyndsay (Brett) Johnson, Stacy (Blake) King, Lori (Kevin) Spalding, Matthew (Katie) Mendham, and Marcy (Xavier) Elizondo. Survived by 17 great grandchildren: Darrien, Makayla, Noah, and Marissa Harmon; Alana Nickman; Amber, Logan Lampkin; Danielle, Katie, and Trent Hopkins; Carrissa and Jordan Johnson; Travis, Stephanie, Luke, Braeden and Hayden Spalding. Also survived by one sister Mary Jane (Lester) McClellan of Fostoria, MI and one brother, Calvin (Paula) Long of Farmington Hills, MI. She was preceded in death by one sister Betty (Harold) Sibley of Jenison, MI. Family will receive friends at the Lewis E. Wint & Son TRUST 100 Funeral Home, Clarkston, MI Thursday 7-9 p.m., Friday 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. and at the church Saturday after 10 a.m. Celebration of Life service with Rev. Jim Kellerman at Central Methodist Church in Waterford, MI on Saturday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Methodist Church, Waterford.
