Michael Anthony Davis, age 58, of Gainesville passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. No formal services will be held.Mr. Davis was born Oct. 19, 1955, in Gainesville, Ga., to the late Jesse Dean "JD" Davis and Neva Nadine Fields Davis. Michael was a 1973 graduate of Johnson High School and was employed with Elite Exhibits LLC. He attended Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Patricia June Elliott Stryk.Mr. Davis is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Gayle Davis of Flowery Branch; sister and brother-in-law, Jessie Lynn and Charles Lovell of Gainesville; nieces and their husbands, Dana and Rodney Clark of Gainesville and Kimberly DeAnn and Shane Nicholson of Dahlonega; niece, DeeAnn Davis of Gainesville; nephews, Randy Davis of Gainesville, Jason Scott Lovell of Atlanta, Clayton Tyler Lovell of Cumming and Kevin James Elliott of Gainesville; nephew and his wife, Keith Dean and Christy Elliott of Gainesville; and numerous other nieces, nephews and other relatives.Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504, is in charge of arrangements.Send online condolences to www.memorialparkfuneralhomes.com.
