RANKIN, Melville On December 31, 2010, Melville Rankin passed away at the age of 91 years. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty; children, Melville (Martha) and Marianne (Murray); grandchildren, Jenna, Erin, and Kristen; and sisters, Rae Grigg, Mary Barker, and Beryl Lumsden. Mel was a veteran of World War II, a Chartered Accountant, and a longtime member of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace United Church (6215 - 104 Avenue, Edmonton).
