SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mary Zuercher Harmon, 86, formerly of 102 Melody Forest Lane, Spartanburg, died on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, at RoseCrest. Born on May 27, 1920, in Tillamook, OR, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Kodad Zuercher. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, John Virgil Harmon. She was retired from the S&H Green Stamp Company. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and the Presbyterian Womens Circle, a former member of the Teepee Toters Camping Club, and a member of Melody Forest Garden Club.Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Slaton and her husband John of Spartanburg, and Martha Blackmon and her husband Don of Charlotte, NC. She was a loving grandmother of Erin Gladstone and her husband Jon of Rock Hill, Harmon Turner and his wife Kendra of Asheville, NC, Anna Turner of Spartanburg, Nathan Blackmon and his wife Ashley of Waxhaw, NC, and Rhett Blackmon of Los Angeles, CA; and great-grandchildren, Zachary, Chase, and Max Gladstone, Carter, Caroline, and Charlotte Blackmon, and Clementine Penland. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family of twelve children.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 10, 2006, at Floyds Greenlawn Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Zane Moore. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum.
