WHITMIRE, S.C. - Mary Worthy Williamson, age 91, of 97 Gary Street and widow of Bill Williamson, died Tuesday, Nov. 6th, 2012 at her home. She was born in Newberry County and was a daughter of the late Monroe and Ada Baker Worthy. Mrs. Williamson was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Amanda Brown of Blythwood, Iva Nell Williamson of Augusta, GA, Terry Henson of Higdon, AL and Wilma (Richard) Byrd of Newberry; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and too many special friends to list. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Bethesda Baptist Church with burial in the Beth Eden Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Bethesda Baptist Church or Beth Eden Lutheran Church.
