May 30, 2003 Mary Pat Sawmiller Tierney, 60, of Onondaga Hill died Friday at home after a brief illness. She was a graduate of St. Anthony of Padua, Class of 1960. She was formerly employed at the New York Telephone Co., Syracuse University, and at R.K.Johnson Insurance. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church. She is predeceased by her husband, Kieran "Kenny" in 1983 and a daughter Kelley in 1987. Mary Pat is survived by her sons, Patrick and daughter-in-law, Rita, Michael and daughter-in-law, Mary Pat of Marcellus; a sister, Margaret Johnson of Camillus; a brother, Gregory and sister-in-law, Joanne Sawmiller of Cedarvale; a sister-in-law, Mary Moore and husband, Jake of Skaneateles; seven grandchildren, Courtney, Meredith, Ryan VanDyne, Camryn Tierney, Kieran, Liam and Sean Tierney and several nieces and nephews. Her wonderful love of family, friends and kindness to all will always be remembered. Funeral services Monday at 10:15 a.m. at Whelan Bros. Funeral Home and 11 a.m. in St. Michael's Church. burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Whelan Bros. Funeral Home, 3700 W.
