NUGENT It is with loving memories and great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mary Nugent on April 25, 2004 at Glengarry Hospital. May was predeceased by her beloved husband Art. She will be greatly missed by her niece, Sharon and husband, Don; her nephew, Bryan and wife, Molly; great nieces, Jennifer, Kristen (Graham), Amy and Jackie; great nephews, Henry and Dan; cousins, Mavis and Eileen (Bill). She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her many, many friends. May was a very kind and giving person who loved people and spent her life helping others. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on June 20, 1921, May moved to Victoria in 1943. She was a dedicated church secretary at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church for 34 years and received great joy from her work with the church community during her years of service and following retirement. She was also an avid golfer and bridge player and belonged to the Uplands Golf Club for many years. The family would like to thank all her friends, church community, doctors, nurses and careworkers who touched May's life. May her love remain with you and light your lives. Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2004 at 2 pm at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Douglas & Broughton). Flowers gratefully declined.
