JARED, MARY MARGUERITE "MIMI" (BENNETT), 76, passed away Saturday June 11, 2011 at Jewish Hospital. She was born in Louisville, KY to David Thomas and Pearl (Miller) Bennett. Mary was a former employee of Sears for many years and a lifetime member of The Valley Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 48 years, Allen Bernard Jared. Survivors include her children, Vicki Jared and Mark A. Jared Sr. (Lori); six grandchildren, Damon (Debbie), Devin, Jamie Spaulding, Sheri Bennett (Jason), David Jared (Angela) and Mark Allen Jared Jr. (Kathy); 13 great-grandchildren; also surviving is her faithful companion "Prince." Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 2 - 8 p.m. Online condolences: owenfuneralhome.com
