ObituaryMARY LOU FIELDCANDOR - Mary Lou Field, 81, of Candor, passed away on February 9, 2007.Mary Lou was born October 10, 1925 in Sayre, PA, to the late Edgar and Lena Daily Raish. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Field. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, George and Peggy Williams, Candor; daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jean and Gary Wood, Cortland; stepchildren, Greg Field and Sarah Field, Gary and Debbie Field, Gavin and Jane Field; grandchildren, Lindsey, Elaine, Sarah, Ashley, Sam, Jason, Andrew; great-grandsons, Thomas and MarkMary Lou was a lifetime resident of Candor and taught at Candor Central School for 19 years. She was very community minded and was involved in Daughters of the American Revolution, Regents Council, Candor Community Service Corp., St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Candor Historical Society, Tioga County Historical Society, Candor American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star and Literacy Volunteers.A celebration of Mary Lou's life will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Candor, with the Rev. Judith Upham officiating. Arrangements are by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
