She was the daughter of the late Christie Stokes and Minnie James Hahn. She was the great great granddaughter of Peter Simpson, for whom Simpsonville was named.She was retired from a long career with the United States Postal Service. Miss Hahn had made her home in Anderson for the past 14 years, but lived most of her life in Greer where she was a member of the Greer First Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Pine Terrace Community Club, the Greenville Women's Insurance Association, and the National Arts Club in New York, NY.Surviving are her nephew, Robert H. Alverson, Jr. of Anderson; two nieces, Nelda Satterfield Amspacher of California and Tammy Jean Hahn of Greer. Graveside services will be officiated by Dr. Rick Ezell and Dottie Bryson on Monday, December 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the Wood Memorial Park in Duncan. The family will receive friends from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Wood Mortuary in Greer.The family is at the home of Robert H.
