Mary F. Pritchard Schenectady Mary F. Pritchard, 83, of Schenectady, passed away peacefully Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Ellis Hospital with her family by her side. Born on September 12, 1931 in Albany, NY, she was the daughter of the late J. Leonard and Josephine Miller MacIsaac. Mary was a lifelong area resident. She was employed as a telephone operator with the New York Telephone Company, and later AT&T, retiring after 36 years of service. Mrs. Pritchard was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was an active and faithful member of St. Luke's Church in Schenectady and served in the church's Altar Rosary Society. Mary enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and especially loved taking annual summer trips to Wildwood, NJ. Above all else, she loved her family and found great joy in being a grandmother. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by six siblings, Elizabeth Lancto, John, Leonard and Stephen MacIsaac, Shirley Meuse and Virginia Stoddard. Survivors include her loving husband, Henry A. Pritchard, whom she married on August 16, 1953; her son, Edward J. Pritchard and his wife, Deborah A. of Schenectady; granddaughter, Kristin L. Pritchard and her fiance, Christopher Renda of New Rochelle; siblings, Josephine Josie Peeney of Rotterdam and Austin MacIsaac of Port St. Lucie, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Monday, March 9, 2015 at 12 p.m. at St. Luke's Church, 1241 State St., Schenectady. The Rosary Society Honorary Pallbearers will meet at 11:45 a.m. at the Church. Entombment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the mass at the Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State St., Schenectady.
