Mary F. (Hogan) Allen, 85, of Stoughton, died peacefully January 17, 2015. Raised in Stoughton, she graduated from Stoughton High School. She had worked as a bartender at The Lit in Brockton for over 25 years and enjoyed Foxwoods and bingo. She was the wife of the late Harry Allen; beloved mother of Linda Anderson of Swansea, John Elliott (and Diane) of S. Yarmouth, Robert Elliott of Brockton, Charles Blades (and Kim) of Ohio, Dianne Allen (and Steve Melchionno) of Holbrook, Francis Allen (and Lisa) of Whitman, David Allen of Brockton, Mary Altanbour (and Nedal) of Stoughton, and the late James and Herbert Blades and Charlotte Peloquin; a dear grandmother and great-grandmother; she leaves her former daughter-in-law and caretaker Diane Blades; sister of Madeline Roach (and the late Paul, Chief SFD), and Dorothy Follett (and the late Benjamin, Foxboro FD), both of Stoughton, and the late Geraldine Kelley; and an aunt of many. All were welcome to calling hours Wednesday, Jan. 21, 4 - 8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton, her funeral Thursday, Jan. 22, at 10 a.m. in Waitt Funeral Chapel and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
