<!-- FH = Lawrence-Sorensen 731-424-2424 -->Jackson, TN - Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth Tooms, age 100, will be held at 12 Noon today, Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, with Dr. Gary Morse officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Miss Tooms died January 31, 2011 at Bolivar General Hospital in Bolivar, TN. She was born in Madison County, TN, daughter of the late Theo and Eula Doss Tooms, and was educated in the local schools. Miss Tooms was a retired accountant and bookkeeper. She was a very active, longtime member of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church, and the Methodist Women. She was a lady in every respect, very well loved and respected by all who knew her. Miss Tooms leaves first cousin, Margaret Patrick and husband David of Mercer, TN; cousins, Joe and Tommy Patrick of Georgia, Mike Patrick and Mary Spellings, both of Jackson, TN.
