Mrs. Patterson was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, a talented homemaker, and a devoted childcare provider. She was a life-long member of Poplar Grove Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bill Patterson; her parents, Johnnie and Fannie Swink; a brother, Hollis Swink; and two half-brothers, Ed and Blue Swink.She leaves two daughters, Carolyn Patterson of Trenton, and Emily Sullivan and husband Curtis of Gadsden; two granddaughters, Ashley Dennis and husband Rob of Nashville, and Whitney Sullivan of Jackson; and one great-granddaughter, Berkley Dennis of Nashville. Visitation for Mrs. Patterson will be Tuesday, April 12th from 5 until 8 p.m., at Karnes and Son Funeral Home in Dyer. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 13th, 2 p.m., at Karnes and Son Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Spellings officiating. Burial is in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
