Avis de décès de Mary E. Whalen

Randolph Mary E. (Coyne) Whalen, 78, a long time resident of Randolph formerly of Quincy, died July 4, 2008 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a long illness. Born and raised in Quincy, Mrs. Whalen attended St. Gregorys School in Dorchester. She married Charles J. Whalen and raised her three children first in Quincy then moved to Randolph. Her husband died in June of 1998. Mrs. Whalen was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Patrick J. and his wife Peggy of Duxbury, Charles J. Whalen and his wife Sabrina of Canton and her daughter, Louise A. Vekos and her husband Chris of Hanson. Sister of Thomas and Barbara Coyne both of Quincy. Mrs. Whalen is also survived by 8 grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Chapel in North Quincy. Visiting hours will be held at the Lydon Chapel for Funerals, 644 Hancock Street, Quincy, Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. Interment Mass. National Cemetery in Bourne.
