MANCHESTER - Mary E. Renaud, 70, of Manchester, died Jan. 2, 2012, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack following a long illness. She was born on Aug. 7, 1941, in Franklin, the daughter of the late Herbert and Edna (Sleeper) Coons. Mary worked for almost 30 years at Jewel Industries in Manchester and later for Filtronics for 10 years. She enjoyed puzzles and Sudoku. Her family was a very important part of her life. She loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Sliwerski of Manchester; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Herbert Coons of Michigan; and her sister, Marjorie Charland of Raymond. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Renaud, in April of 1998. . SERVICES: Her gathering will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. with her funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. Committal prayers will be in the chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Community Hospice, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
