TIGHE Mary Conlan Tighe, age 78 of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Brendan Tighe, died Thursday, March 15, 2007 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport.. Mrs. Tighe was born in County Clare, Ireland and immigrated to the United States in 1952. She was a retired L.P.N. for the Carolton Convalescent Hospital, Fairfield and a former Recreation Director at the former Golden hill Health Care Center, Bridgeport. She was the loving mother of James and Mortimer Tighe of Bridgeport,; Maureen Cutting and her husband, Garry, of Baltimore Md. and Kathleen Tighe, of Trumbull; devoted grandmother to Andrew, Allison and Elizabeth Cutting, Brendan, Collin and Keira Murren; sister of Mortimer (Junior) Conlan of Oxford, Joseph and Thomas Conlan of Ireland, Charles Conlan, of England, and Bridie O'Donnell of Huntington; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, John and Patrick and a sister, Susan. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Monday at 9:15 a.m. from The Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport and at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew's Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Mt. Grove Cemetery of Easton. Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations maybe made to St. Andrews Church.
