Avis de décès de Martha-Anne Reid

REID, Martha Anne, 79, of Tampa, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004. A native of Tampa, she graduated from Plant High School in 1942. She was a member of Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church. She worked as an office manager for two Tampa physicians and later in life had many years of dedicated service as an American Red Cross volunteer at Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Augustus Brooks Reid. She is survived by her daughter, Gay Rivas of Tampa; her sons, Brooks Reid Jr. and wife, Jan, of Naperville, Ill., and Franklin Reid and wife, Wilma, of Richmond, R.I.; her pride and joy - her six grandchildren, Andy, Carrie, Kimberly, Michael, Matthew and Maggie; and her four great-grandchildren, Caroline, Ben, Bryce and Zack. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Myrtle Hill Memorial Park and a memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, 3501 San Jose St., Tampa. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Red Cross Tampa Bay Chapter, 217 Howard Ave., Tampa, FL 33607. We will hold her in our hearts for as long as we live.
