->ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. -- Marion Elizabeth Field, 78, of Zephyrhills, died Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Florida Hospital after a brief illness.She was born on Jan. 6, 1929, in Rutland, Vt., eldest daughter of the late Pearl and Fred Wooster.She lived many years in Concord, N.H., and was an active member of the Concord Seventh Day Adventist Church prior to her move in 1975 to Maine, where she lived respectively in Clinton, Fairfield and Norridgewock. She was a member of the Waterville and Norridgewock Seventh Day Adventist Churches until she moved most recently to Zephyrhills in 2003. Having always a desire to learn and to be able to help her two youngest children in their studies, she went back to school and then went on from there to get her high school diploma in 1988 and then continued on to get her license as a licensed practical nurse in 1990. Although she was striving to get her registered nursing degree she decided not to continue in school but worked in the health care field for the last 18 years of her life. During these years she also pursued courses in creative writing and drawing in which she was quite talented.She was predeceased by her husband, Wesley, in 1990.She is survived by her three sisters, Anna Hague of Rochester, N.Y., Mary Belcher of Blasdell, N.Y., and Ruth Lashon of Madison, Maine; her five children, Barbara Lewis of Zephyrhills, Wayne Field of Greenville, Maine, Judy Graham of Greenland, N.H., Lee Field and his wife, Heidi, of Sidney, Maine, and Sherri Stubbs and her husband, Mike, of Lowell, Mass. She had 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her family. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Concord Seventh Day Adventist Church, 310 Sheep Davis Road (Route 106), Concord N.H. All are welcome to come and celebrate her life. She will be buried later in the month with her husband at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine, at a private family gathering.
