CARRIÈRE, Marguerite (nee Léger)Passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the age of 91. Daughter of the late Joseph Léger and the late Louise Thérrien; beloved wife of the late Yvon Carrière. She leaves in sorrow her children André (Janet) of Lethbridge, Alberta, Louise (Gordon Davis) of Aylmer, Yvon (Alison) of Ottawa and Danielle (André Paris) of Casselman. She also leaves her brothers Michel (Elizabeth Harris), Bernard (Thérèse Philippe) and Guy (Gabrielle Canuel) all of Ottawa; her sister-in-law Rita Carrière (late Florian), as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her four brothers Jean- Louis, Paul, Gaston and André and her three sisters Anne-Marie, Sister Louise Léger, FDLS and Thérèse. The family would like to thank the staff at the Pavillon d'Embrun, as well as the staff at the Résidence St-Louis for the excellent care provided to Marguerite. Family and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa), followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame- de-Lourdes Church (435 Montreal Rd., Ottawa). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montfort Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
