Age 82, of the Town of Tonawanda, Sunday, September 29, 2002 in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Columbus, OH, she was the wife of the late John F. Halligan, who died in 1983, and the dearest cousin of Helen L. Bucke of Hamilton, OT. She was the mother of the late Teresa Halligan who died in 1998, and daughter of the late William and Anna Leith. Mrs. Halligan was a member of St. Andrew's R.C. Church in the Town of Tonawanda. Mother of Gerald L. (Kathleen) Halligan of the Town of Tonwanda and Cecilia (Tommy) Smith of the City of Tonawanda; grandmother of Shannon (Jeff) Sandoz, Jason and Jennifer Smith, Leigh (Stewart) Sayre, Maureen Halligan; great-grandmother of Brooke, Jack, Justin, Jordan, and Evan. There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, 1525 Sheridan Dr. (at Elmwood Ave., Town of Tonwanda) Thursday, October 3rd at 9:30 AM. Private burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. If desired memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements by JOHN O.
