DeGROOT - Margaret (nee Kirk) , longtime Inwood resident (formerly of Cedarhurst and Lakeview) on April 9, 2007 in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Irving DeGroot, Jr. Dear mother of Barry, Frances Barrett, the late Virginia and Raymond Thompson and the late Betty and Joseph Fitzgerald. Adored grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Fond sister of Marjorie Kittel. Will repose Thursday 6-9 and Friday 2-4 and 7-9PM at Meserole Funeral Home, Inwood. A member of the Peninsula Chapter #834, for 76 years, O.E.S. Service Friday 8PM. Funeral Service Saturday 10AM.
