PEARCE, MARGARET ELIZABETH, 71 Newberry - Margaret Elizabeth Pearce, age 71 of Newberry, FL, died Sunday March 4, 2007 in Gainesville, FL. She was born in Newberry and graduated from Newberry High School. She worked with children her whole life including being a Head Start teacher with the Alachua County School System. She attended Forest Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; Alfred V. Pearce, Sr., and is survived by her daughters; Gale Pearce and Tami Pearce Jones, son; Alfred V. Pearce, Jr., her grandchildren; Alexandra Gutmann, Davis Jones, and Susanna Jones, her sisters; Nancy Sam Ell, and Laura Wilcox and her brothers; N. J. Barry and Billy Barry. The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 6, 2007 from 5-7 PM at Milam Funeral Home, 22405 West Newberry Road Newberry, FL 32669, (352) 472-3999. Funeral services will be held at Forest Grove Baptist Church, 22575 NW 94th Avenue Alachua, FL 32615 on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the "Building Fund" at the church.
