Margaret Chobey Fiehl of EndwellMargaret Chobey Fiehl, 86, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, entered into Eternal Life with members of her family at her side on February 16, 2002. She was born in Scranton, Pa., the daughter of Stephen and Suzanna Stasko Chobey. She is survived by her husband, Michael Robert Fiehl, Endicott; four sons, Donald, Newark, Delaware, Gerald, Endicott, John and his wife, Cindy, Bear, Delaware, and Martin and his wife, Diana; two daughters, Margaret Ruth Salisbury and her husband, James, Endwell, and Susan Fiehl Skladzinski and her spouse, Piotr, Albany, N.Y. She is also survived by one sister, Marion Gill and her husband, James, Scranton, Pa.; and two sisters-in-law, Leona Chobey, Scranton, and Frances Chobey, Clarks Summit, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Jill Salisbury-Glennon and her husband, Steven, Auburn, Alabama, Michael Salisbury and his wife, Judy, Atlanta, Ga., Christine and Michael Fiehl, Bear, Delaware, Laura Skladzinski, Albany, and Alexander Fiehl. She was a Communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church of Endicott as well as a devoted member of the Choir and Altar Rosary Society. Margaret's love of family, passion for cooking, sewing, gardening and song sustained her. The goodness and kindness she showed toward others will be dearly remembered. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9 a.m. from the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m.
