BARRETT, Margaret - Born October 29, 1922. It is with great sadness that the family announces her passing on January 10, 2010 at Extendicare Bayview at the age of 87. Predeceased by her beloved husband Peter of 60 years. Sadly missed by her children Mary-Kay (Bill), Pat (Suzanne), Michael, Peter (Cathy), Bill (Sylvie) and Dan (Grace). Devoted grandmother of Michael (Ardelle), Richard, Gregory, Kathleen, Luke, Matthew, Donald, Kimberley, Samantha and Sarah. Great-grandmother to Madison, Zadie and Shepard. Dear sister to Mary and her late brother Leonard. Will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at BLESSED TRINITY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3220 Bayview Ave. in North York, on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 11 a.m. Following the Funeral Mass, family and friends will be received at 1 p.m. at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME - Scarborough Chapel, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (1 block west of Warden Ave.), for a reception. Cremation to follow with interment of cremated remains at a later date at the Highland Memory Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society.
