Marcella F. Peckof Leominster, was nurse, Army Vet; 96 LEOMINSTER -- Marcella F. (Aubuchon) Peck, passed away peacefully at River Terrace Health Care Center in Lancaster.She was born on March 13, 1917 in Fitchburg, the daughter of Arthur J. and Flora (LeClerk) Aubuchon.Marcella was a graduate of St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg, and received her R.N. from St. Vincent's Hospital School of Nursing in Worcester.Subsequently, she enlisted with the U.S. Army Air Corps and served our nation as a Nurse-Lieutenant at Ellington Air Field near Galveston, Texas.After her military service, she worked as a charge nurse at Burbank Hospital, and later at Leominster Hospital.Mrs. Peck was predeceased by her husband, George Peck who was an English Teacher at Leominster High School for many years. She was also predeceased by her two sisters, Theresa Aubuchon of Fitchburg, and Charlotte Coulter, and by her brother, Jacques Aubuchon of Woodland Hills, CA.Marcella leaves her daughter, Dr. Nicole Ferrell Connolly, and her husband, David J. Connolly; as well as her beloved granddaughter, Ciara Lynn Connolly, all of Harvard, MA; and one brother, Robert Aubuchon of Fitchburg.She also leaves members of the Peck Family including Thomas and Donna Peck of Westminster, Diana Peck of Gloucester, and James and Carol Peck of Maryland.Mrs. Peck was a longtime member of St. Leo's Parish in Leominster. Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother.
