GARCIA - Manuel, age 92, of New Milford on October 1, 2004. Beloved husband of Luisa (nee Fernandez) of New Milford. Loving father of Rosa Gutierrez and her husband Angel of New Milford and Isabel Barratt and her husband Robert of New Milford. Dear brother of Raymond Garcia of Florida and Joseph Garcia of Cuba. Adored grandfather of Luis Gutierrez and Juan Gutierrez. Mr. Garcia was a graduate of Havana University before coming to The United States in 1962. He worked as an accountant at New York Medical College. He was a founding member of the Cuban American Foundation in Washington DC and a contributing Founder of the Radio Marti, a news broadcasting station that brought outside news in to Cuba. Family will receive friends at the Beaugard Funeral Home 869 Kinderkamack Rd., River Edge, NJ, Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Monday 10 AM at the Church of The Ascension in New Milford. Interment is at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus. In lieu of floral tributes donations in Manuel's memory are requested to Holy Name Hospital Cancer Research Center.
