-> Mrs. Mabel L. Mack, 81, of Garden City died Tuesday April 20, 2004 at home under Hospice Care. She was a native of Florence, South Carolina and lived in New York 20 years before moving to Savannah over 50 years ago. She was a member of St. Paul C.M.W. Church where she served as past president of the Usher Board, member of the Missionary Society and the Willing Workers. She and her husband owned and operated the Saratoga Club formerly Annabelle's in Garden City for many years. She was one of the Founding members of the Garden City Community Organization. She was instrumental in the establishment of the Westside Urban Health Center on Roberts Street. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. William Mack. Survivors are : two daughters, Marsha Mack Williams (C. Roger) of N.Y.C. and Jean Duberry (Kermit) of Phila. PA; four sons, Keith Mack (Sabrina), Kenneth Mack (Yvonne), Kerry Mack (Christine), William Bolden all of Garden City, GA; three sisters, Annie Mae Jones of N.Y. C., Margaret Steadman (Gordon) of West Hartford, CT, Dorothy Robertson of N.Y.C.; one brother, Roscoe Wilson of N.Y. C.; 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Visitation: 7:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Funeral: 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at St. Paul C.M.E. Church, 1602 Barnard St. The Rev. Henry R. Delaney, Pastor. The Rev. Sheila R. Calhoun, officiating.
