89, of Pleasantville, died Sept. 24, 2001 at Phelps Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born Oct. 19, 1911, she was a descendant of the original Quaker families who founded Chappaqua. A homemaker and caregiver, she is survived by a daughter, Mildred L. Gasparre and a son-in-law Michael of Tarrytown, N.Y. Granddaughters Suzy Doorley, Joy Furtado and step granddaughters Dawn Santimauro, Audrey Rivera. Grandsons John, Howard and Karl Ulrich with seven great grandchildren and numberous nieces and nephews. Also surviving is her sister Sue Molini. She was predeceased by her husband Rudolph Hanson, an infant child Sue, brothers George, Walter, James and Charles Washburn. Also sisters Dorothy Bergstrom, Emily Bullock, Elsie Kangas and Ida Washburn. Friends may call Thursday from 9:00am at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville, NY where a service will be held at 10:00am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pleasantville Ambulance Corp.
