KNAPP, MARY PATRICIA (NEE LANE)Mary Patricia Knapp, nee Lane, departed this life on December 28, 2004 at the Somers Manor Nursing Home, Somers, NY. She was born in Yonkers, NY on March 17, 1918 to Raymond and Edna Smyth Lane. She married Joseph A. Knapp Jr. on March 15, 1942 at St. Peter's Church, Yonkers, NY. Mr. Knapp died in 1952. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Edna Ardovino, and Gertrude O'Shea. She is survived by her children, Marylane (Mrs. Fred) Deatherage of Elk Grove, CA; Joseph (Victoria) of Yorktown Heights, NY; and Raymond (MaryAnne) of Holmes, NY. She is also survived by her grandchildren Fred D. and Dean A. Deatherage; Joseph A., Timothy R. and Gregory A. Knapp; and Marilyn Knapp. Additionally she is survived by her sisters Joan (Mrs. Fred) Attanasio of Yonkers; Elizabeth Lane of North Carolina, Peggy (Mrs. James) O'Shea of Oregon; and Frances (Mrs. John) Walther of North Carolina as well as many loving and cherished nieces and nephews. Visitation 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial at the Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart, Shonnard Place, Yonkers, NY, Friday 9:15 am, December 31, 2004. Interment at Long Island National Cemetery, Pinelawn, NY.
