Margaret A. Farrell passed away on November 8, 2006 at her residence in Somers, she was formerly of Eastchester. Mrs. Farrell was born on March 31, 1943 in the Bronx, NY to the late Thomas and Gertrude Shannon Doonan. She graduated from St. Aquinas (Bronx) High School in 1961. Mrs. Farrell worked for Soft Drink and Brewery Workers Union in Eastchester for over 15 years before retiring in 1996. On April 4, 1964, she married Tom Farrell at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scarsdale. The past eight years, Mrs. Farrell split her time between Somers, NY, and Fort Myers, FL. Prior to moving, she lived in Eastchester for thirty years. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Croton Falls, NY. She loved to play with her grandchildren, golf and tennis. Peggy will be remembered for her smile, compassion, and true love for family and friends. Mrs. Farrell is survived by her loving husband Tom. Also surviving is her mother Gertrude Flynn. She was a special mother to Darin and Laura Farrell of Eastchester, NY, and Bonnie and Lawrence Farrelly of Saratoga Springs, NY. She was adored by her grandchildren, Kristen, Matthew, Michael, and Ryan Farrell, Connor and Shelby Farrelly. Her sister Rose Martin and brothers, Tom and John Doonan also survive. Mrs.Farrell will be joining her son Tommy, who passed away in 1985. In lieu of flowers, donations to Phelps Hospice, 701 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY, 10591 preferred.
