Ferraro, LouiseLouise (Roccasecca) Ferraro died Tuesday, November 4, 2013 at Bridgeway Care & Rehabilitation Center in Hillsborough, NJ. She was 89. Born in New York City to the late Frank & Caroline Roccasecca, she had lived in Trumbull and Huntington, Connecticut before moving to Hillsborough 9 years ago. Louise was an active member and officer for the Ladies of Unico and was a volunteer at St. Joseph's Manor Assisted Living both in Connecticut. She enjoyed the socializing and activities at the Shelton Senior Center prior to moving to Hillsborough and joining the Hillsborough Senior Citizens. She was predeceased by her husband, Enrico (Henry) Ferraro, owner of Ferraro Bros., Inc. and her brother Rudolph Roccasecca. Surviving are her daughters - Emily Ross and her husband Robert and Nancy Barrood and her husband Phil; her five grandchildren - Lori Avedikian, Robert Ross and his wife Karen, Shari McDaniel and her husband Justin and Phillip and George Barrood; four great grandchildren - Sofia, Jack, Robert and Anthony and one great grandson on the way. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be 9:00 AM Thursday from Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass at St. Augustine of Canterbury RC Church, Kendall Park. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 PM to 9 PM and are also invited to attend the committal service and entombment at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Michael's Cemetery, 2205 Stratford Ave, Stratford, Connecticut.
