Louise André, 81, died Oct. 23, 2008. She was born in Woodstock, Va., and lived in Florida since 1983, coming from Long Island, N.Y. She worked in the Elwood, N.Y., School District as its lunch manager and at the Publix supermarket in Stuart for 24 years in the bakery. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints and the Maritime and Yachting Museum in Stuart. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Jack André of Stuart; daughters, Karen Hyde of Jensen Beach and Lynn Thompson of Stuart; son, Jack H. André Jr. of Stuart; two grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34996. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Oct. 26 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel, with a funeral service to follow immediately.
