DENNIS, Louis Joseph - In his 84th year, after a long battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease on August 6, 2011. Lou was the beloved husband of 54 years of Patricia (nee Horgan), father of Tim (Karen), Paul (Susi) and Tracy (Smiley) Dennis and grandfather of Tim Jr., Ryan, Florien and Donny. Brother-in-law of Jack and Ann Horgan and Uncle of Mary Ann (Bernie Gratton), Patricia (John Rush) and Carole Horgan. Born in 1926 in Miramichi, New Brunswick, Lou was the 12th of 14 children and is also remembered by many family members in Atlantic Canada. A lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus Catholic Men's Group. Funeral Mass was held August 9, 2011 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Scarborough with interment at Christ The King Cemetery in Markham. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
