Louis H. Elias of Weymouth, age 84, died Jan. 21, 2011 after a brief illness surrounded by his family. Husband of the late Mary (Salibe) Elias. Father of David Elias of Plymouth, Leslie Barbetta married to Richie of Plymouth, Theresa Hibbard married to Phil of Va., John Elias married to Kim of Weymouth, Lisa Lea of Weymouth and the late Paul and Anthony Elias. Brother of Joey Elias, Chucky Elias, Helen Crespi, Julia Smith, Fanny Salvatore and the late George Elias, Davey Elias, Marie Belliveau and Annie Elias. Also survived by ten grand and two great-grandchildren. U.S. Navy veteran World War II. Louie was a retired longtime employee of Weymouth D.P.W. and also worked at the former Quincy Shipyard. Lifetime member of the John Alden Club and Weymouth Elks. Louie also enjoyed traveling. Funeral from the East Weymouth McDonald Funeral Home, corner of Charles and Middle Sts., Thursday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in the Immaculate Conception Church at 9:00 oclock.
