Obituaries It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Loretta Barboni on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008 at La Verendrye Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. Loretta was born Jan. 1, 1943 in Stratton Ont. Loretta will be sadly missed by her sons, Brad (Marlene) and Rick (Mel); stepchildren, Terry Wilson Vanderbrand (Bonnie) and Mary Anne Reimer (Randy); and seven beautiful grandchildren. Loretta also leaves behind her best friend and sister, Barbara Raine (Rick Lindholm); sisters, Patsy Cameron and Verna Larocque (Hubert); brother, Rocky Cameron (Adeline); sister-in-law, Sophie Cameron; her auntie, Mary Peterson; and many nieces and nephews. She also is survived by longtime friend, Albert Barboni (Marion). Loretta’s greatest passion in life was Lake Despair with Dale, where they loved to be when family and friends would gather for good times and laughter. The time spent fishing and the blueberry pies will be fondly remembered. One of Loretta’s biggest joys was her dog “Cha-Chi.” Loretta was predeceased by her parents, Allan and Helmy Cameron; her partner and best friend, Dale Wilson (2004); and brothers, Darryl Peterson and Scotty Cameron.
