April 22, 1922 - January 5, 2012 QUAN - Lily, passed away peacefully at the Royal Jubilee Hospital on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the age of 89. Predeceased by husband, Herbert and daughter, Shannon, Lily is survived by son, Sherman (Pamela,) daughter Shelley (Dave) and 5 grandchildren, Brenna (Jeff,) Neale (Michelle,) Christopher (Kimberly,) Kimi and Kaylea plus 3 great grandchildren, Torin, Jett and Ciarra. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews. Lily, a kind, cheerful and considerate person, was born and raised in Victoria. She married Herbert in 1960 and moved to Edmonton where they ran a successful restaurant business along with other family members. After retiring in 1975, they returned to Victoria and re-established old friendships. Lily was an avid traveler and enjoyed spending time with family and her luncheon friends. Our family would like to offer our gratitude to the caring staff at The Berwick at Royal Oak. A private family memorial service will be held at Lily's request.
