NADEAU, Leopold (Leo) - of Lafontaine, formerly of Welland, passed away on Wednesday August 20, 2008 at the Penetaguishene General Hospital at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Christiane Nadeau (nee Lemelin). Loving father of, Marc Nadeau (Ellen) Michel (Joanne), Helene Goulding (Robert), Yvan (Woody Bebout) and Alain (Krista). Dearly missed by his grandchildren Marc Jr. (Michelle), Monique, David, Ryan, Natalie, Stefanie, Caroline, Michael and Patrick. Dear brother of Guatane, Francoise Morin (Jean), Benoit and Lise. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews and brothers-in-law Father Andre Lemelin, Conrad Lemelin (Liliane) and their children Jean-Luc (predeceased) and Ann-Marie. He was predeceased by his parents Alphonse and Roseanne Nadeau. The Nadeau family will receive friends at J.J. Patterson & Sons Funeral Residence 19 Young Street, Welland on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 7 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Église du Sacré-Coeur on Saturday August 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow in Fonthill Cemetery.
