Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Wilson, 49 of Panama City, Fla. went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 24, 2009 at his residence. He was born Aug. 8, 1960 in Winter Haven, Fla. to Hubbard and Betty Jean Wilson. He served in the United States Army for 19 years and worked for Mayer Electric for 10 years. He was also a member of Gods Vineyard Church. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Michael Allen Wilson. He is survived by his mother Betty Jean Wilson of Panama City, Fla.; two brothers: Randy Wilson and wife Vickie of Vernon, Fla. and John Wilson also of Vernon, Fla.; three sisters: Sandra Reynolds and husband Thomas of Port St. Joe, Fla., Theresa Wilson and Tina Wilson of Bonifay, Fla.; three step brothers: Terry Abel of Las Vegas, Skip Abel of Bentonville, Arkansas and David Gibson of Centertown, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, 2009 at Gods Vineyard Church. The Rev. John Chance and Rick McMichael officiated. Burial was in the Vernon City Cemetery. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Fla. directed. Family received friends one hour prior to the service.
