CARROLL, Kenneth James Albert It is with sadness we announce the passing of Ken on November 2, 2007 in his 89th year. Proud veteran of the 17th Duke of York Royal Canadian Hussars 40-45. Ken leaves behind his beloved wife of 66 years, Eileen Mundy Carroll. He was the proud father of Sandra Picard (Henri) and good friend and father to his 2 sons James Carroll and Andrew Carroll (Diana). Ken loved his 6 grandchildren and spent many summers at his cottage in Chapeau, Que. with them. Kimberly Picard, Jennifer Silverman (Jeffery), Melissa and Derek Carroll and Kalee and Morgan Carroll. Ken also is remembered by 4 great grandchildren, Jordan, Jessica, Julia and Jaclyn Silverman. Ken was predeceased by his sisters Pauline Drinnan, Elsie Cavy and Clare Sullivan who died also November 2, 2007 in Pembroke, ON. Ken is survived by his sister Joan Martel (Gerald) of Fredricksburg, PA. and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Mundy of Montreal, Que. Ken leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who have had wonderful memories of their times together. Ken's wishes were to be cremated with no service. For those who wish to remember Ken, a donation to the Smiths Falls Community Hospital, 10 Cornelia St. W., Smiths Falls, ON K7 A 2H9 would be appreciated.
