REDMAN, Kenneth Howard (May 22, 1938 - August 16, 2008) It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Howard on August 16, 2008 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Beloved husband of Judy (nee Bertrand) after 36 years of marriage. Loving father of Jennifer (Greg) and Natalie. Dear brother of Ted and Frances (Robert) Leinster. Howard recently retired in March of this year after a successful career as a consultant and employee with the Government of Canada. Howard was an avid sailor, wooden boat builder, chess player and traveler. He will be missed by all especially for his love of his wife Judy, his daughters, family and friends. At Howard's request no funeral service will be held. A private cremation will take place and a memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Many thanks to the special care provided by all members of the palliative care team especially those in 5 East at the Ottawa General Hospital.
