Dwyer, Kathleen M. RENSSELAER Kathleen M. Conboy Dwyer of Rensselaer passed away Monday, December 19, 2011. She was born in Albany and was a lifelong resident of Rensselaer. Mrs. Dwyer was a homemaker and a communicant of St. John The Evangelist and St. Joseph Church in Rensselaer, attending St. John's Church for many years. Kathleen was a member of St. John's School Mother's Club, St. Anthony Society and the Rosary Altar Society of St. John's Church, Friends of the Rensselaer Library and volunteered her time to Concerns-U in the city of Rensselaer. Kathleen and her husband Dan enjoyed their time in Florida. She was a caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who lived life and put her family first. Beloved wife of 51 years to Mayor Daniel Dwyer of Rensselaer; caring mother of Colleen Dwyer (Thomas) Everett of East Greenbush and Daniel (Diane) Dwyer of Rensselaer; grandmother of Holly and Amy Everett, Matthew, Casey and Jack Dwyer; daughter of the late William and Catherine O'Connor Conboy; sister of William (Janice) Conboy of Ashville, N.C., Lawrence (Lillian) Conboy of Schenectady and the late Patricia Stackhouse; sister-in-law of William Stackhouse; cousin of Eileen Hepinstall of Mich. and the late George Hepinstall; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Avenue, Rensselaer, Friday morning at 9:30 and 10:30 at St. John The Evangelist and St. Joseph Church, Herrick Street Rensselaer, where the Liturgy of Christian Death and Burial will be offered.
