Zion AME Zion Church, 455 W. Jeff Davis Ave., Montgomery, AL with Rev. Claude Shuford officiat-ing. Interment will follow in East-wood Cemetery with Phillips-Riley Funeral Home directing. Survivors include a loving and devoted wife, Shirley Elayne Thomas, a loving son, Charles G. Thomas and Isiah Harvey, devoted daughter, Ebonie L. Matthews, two loving grandchil-dren, Kierra and Aarius (A.J.) Mat-thews, all of Montgomery, AL; five devoted sisters, Ethel Jones, Martha (Silas) Orum, Susie Davis, Johnnie (Vince) Cox, Michelle (Bernard) Martin, all of Montgomery, AL; six devoted brothers, Alpha (Brenda) Smith, Montgomery, AL; Charlie (Be-verly) Smith, Apopka, FL; John (Be-tty) Thomas, Lakeland, FL; Frank (Mary Lee) Smith, Montgomery, AL; Nathaniel (Shae) Thomas, Fruitland Park, FL; Michael (Paulette) Thom-as, Montgomery, AL; A.L.
