GERVAIS _ Justin Marcel February 11th, 1920 - January 29th, 2006 Marcel was born in St. Thecle, Quebec and died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved son Robert in 1993 and his son-in-law Randy in 1994. Survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Lilian and his sisters Lucille and Claire. Also survived by his children Paul (Judy), Janine, Mark (Val), Darlene (Dave), Denise and daughter-in-law Marcie. The family has grown to include 20 beautiful grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Proudly served his country overseas during WWII, married in 1944 and settled in B.C. following the war. Retired in 1984 and spent many happy years enjoying competitive ping pong and snooker. Dad lived his life with great courage and dignity, especially during his difficult final days. We will always remember with great pride his strength and overwhelming love and concern for his family. We thank him for the impact he has made on our lives and we will cherish our many special memories of him. We will love you forever.
