Lawrence, Judith W. COLONIE Judith W. Lawrence, of Colonie, passed away on February 15, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Elizabethtown, N.Y. to the late Merle and Paige Walker. Judith is survived by her husband of 59 years, Russel M. Lawrence Sr. and her children, Christy Clairmont and husband Bill, Chip Lawrence and friend Ann McIntosh, Paige Lawrence and wife Debbie. She is the cherished grandmother of Denise Clairmont and friend Jeff Carr, Kelley Gilbert and husband Todd, Christopher Clairmont and fiance Nikki Joseph, Meagan, Royce, Jennifer and Ryan Lawrence. She is the great-grandmother of Benjamin and Ryan Gilbert. She is the sister of John Walker and wife Joan of Lake George. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). A celebration of Judith's life will take place at 7:00 on Monday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
