Family-Placed Funeral Notice THOMAS E. WILLIAMS, Jr. Age 88, of West Palm Beach, died June 28, 2004. Born in Cullman, Alabama, he moved to West Palm Beach in 1925. Thomas graduated from Palm Beach High School in 1933. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Palm Beach Council #2075, Florida Wildlife Federation, National Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors, 65 years in The United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters of the United States of America, Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #630, and served as the Treasurer for the Local Union 630 Retirees, longtime member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church and St. Ann's Catholic Church. He began work at J. A. Adams, Inc. in 1949, later purchased in 1959, retiring in 1985. The plumbing company is still family owned and operated. An avid outdoorsman, teaching his seven children how to hunt and fish. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Denzel C. Williams; four sons: Thomas E. (Helen) Williams, III of Jacksonville, James B. (Barbara) Williams, Joseph A. (Nancy) Williams, and Samuel N. (Sue) Williams, all of West Palm Beach; three daughters: Corinne (Daniel) McCormick of Lake Worth, Penelope Williams- Vivian of West Palm Beach, and Celeste (Jeff) DeSalvo of Jupiter; brother, Jesse B. Williams of Leslie, GA; sisters: Margaret M. Hall of Stonewood, WV, Sister Mary Stella Williams, O.S.B. of Birmingham, AL, Kathleen O. Rast of Greenberg, GA, Rosalie J. Kenney and Elizabeth "Betty" Williams of West Palm Beach; sister-in-law and husband: Maxine and Gilbert Hawkinson of Auburn, WA; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one great-great- grandchild, eleven nieces, four nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, June E. Harvey. Friends may call at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL HOME, 1201 South Olive Avenue, West Palm Beach between the hours of 2 – 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM on Thursday, July 1, with a Wake Service to be held at 7:30 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 2 at St. Ann Catholic Church, West Palm Beach, with entombment to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to either St. Ann Church, 310 N.
